The Search for Happiness -

I guess this is the page where I tell you who I am and why I am writing this blog.  I am a simple person of sorts, I go to university, work to pay for university and dates, and I also attend the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where I have and have had a number of different callings and served a 2-year mission.

Now that you know a bit about me, it is time to move on to why I created this blog… Simply put, I have been on so many crazy and ridiculous dates that I felt that I was doing the world a disservice by not sharing.  I hope the people that will read this can use this to, one, use this as a guide of what not to do while dating, and 2, get a good laugh at my misfortunes while searching for that special someone.  In looking for this person I have driven thousands upon thousands miles to go on dates (It’s tough when everyone you have dated lives 100 miles away), tried online dating and flown all over the United States in hopes of finding someone with the same standards that I have.  Why do I travel so much you ask?  Well simply put there are not many members of my church I attend in my area, so I travel to find someone that is.

As you read this note that I do not mention the names of the guilty, nor will I mention mine, where I live, etc.  If you are reading this and recognize the stories please don’t mention my name or the names of anyone else, that’s just not good form.  Also if you read this and realize you are one of the people who were on a date with me, don’t freak out and email me telling me to take it down because I probably won’t.
